Heartwood Elves - The Unbroken Court

    Long ago, in a forgotten epoch a terrible evil blighted the nascent world. A force of primordial havoc threatened the almost sentient creatures the spanned creation. Stirring forth from the elemental forces of the oldest life, guardians emerged from the depths of the trees themselves. Wise and noble protectors we know of now as Heartwood Elves. 

King Düramen stepped fist upon the earth, then dozens more. Brings borne of bark and wood, twig and leaf, root and branch. 

Together these ancient elves fought back and contained the primordial havoc, naming it Soul Blight, and binding it deep beneath the living world. 

Now, these ancient beings are naught but the faded memory of long forgotten fairy tales. But some say, deep in the richest forest, you can hear them, singing to the fauna and flora…

King Düramen:

Lord of the Heartwood

    A noble but stern leader, Düramen is as tough as stone. His reign has been long, and solely to keep the Soul Blight bound and contained beyond reach of fey or mortal machinations. 

The Monarch of the Unbroken Court has watched over creation since before creation knew it existed. Countless ages have passed under his rule. His only soft spot is for,his youngest daughter, Avium.

Cerasus 

Protector of the Realm

    Defined by her dedication to the Court, and her tireless training, Cerasus, eldest daughter of the king is the aspiration of all Heartwood. The defeat and subjugation of the Soul Blight was in large part her doing. Between her tactical leadership and battle prowess, Cerasus is the epitome of strength and bravery.

Serving her father ant the court with all her being, Cerasus is intelligent and courageous. Her softer side as formidable as her martial one.Should anything ever happen to Düramen, her ascendency and rule is said to surpass her father’s.

Avium

The Soul of Heartwood

    The second child of the king, Avium is not as ferocious in battle as Cerasus, but has a grace and command of battle that none besides her elder sibling can claim. Her true strength lies in her wisdom and compassion. 

When not on duty in court, she is often seem wandering the realms, singing to the trees and animals. Tending to wounds in nature, and encouraging new growth and life wherever she goes.

The few mere glimpses of Avium made by mortals have blossomed into what one from our world might call Mother

Tee’k:

Guardian of the Unbroken Court

    Swift and agile, Tee’k was the first being to string a bow and fletch an arrow. His aim is flawless, as one would expect after generations of generations have been born, lived and died under his ever watchful eyes.


As a guardian of few words Tee’k serves his king and court with unwavering devotion and loyalty.
