He is as good at verbal sparring as he is with his blade or bow. Quill is as studied in combat as his longtime friend Thistlethorn is in artifacts. The two can bee seen debating philosophies and quoting their respective teachers to each other.  Despite his laid back air, there is little that goes by Quill's watchful eye. While his duty is to the Flock, he stands by Artemyss, no matter her rank. He is often her closest confidant and wise council. He is respected  by all and deeply cherished among the Fuzzmunks.
