Hello! Welcome to, “Just Shelve It - The Blog!”

My name is Jesse, and I love collecting, displaying and customizing action figures. I like other stuff too, like movies, comics, reading, writing/drawing. But that’s not what this log is about.

This one is all about toys!

Primarily this will be the journal of my Mythic Legions customs. 

What are Mythic Legions? I’m glad you asked! Mythic Legions are a collectible line of modular action figures made by Four Horsemen Studios.

I’ve always been drawn to the fantasy lands of sword and sorcery stories. Mythic Legions fall deep in that genre. The line is an entirely new IP set in the world of Mythoss. You’ll find knights, dwarve, elves battling orcs, goblins and more!

Each figure comes with a bunch of accessories. And you can “part swap” between figures of the same scale. (More on that later.) This line is easily “customizable,” right out of the packaging, if you have multiple figures.

If you have the patience and skill, you can take it to the next level and paint the figures, and purchase a multitude of custom parts from dozens of online shops. This allows you to make even more unique characters and creatures!

That’s what this blog is going to be dedicated to. Sharing my love of this line, and the stuff I get to come up with as I go along.
